Industrial Sales Engineer - Job Description Position Overview TPMC. Inc is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Sales Engineer with hands-on technical experience in millwright work, process piping systems, and CSA (Concrete, Structural, Architectural) scopes. This role combines field‑level knowledge with strategic sales capability, supporting industrial clients across manufacturing, food and beverage, and other related industrial markets. The ideal candidate understands how facilities operate, how equipment is installed and maintained, and how to translate technical solutions into clear value for customers. Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage relationships with industrial clients, contractors, and plant leadership to identify opportunities for mechanical, piping, and structural project support.
- Conduct site visits, equipment assessments, and scope reviews to provide accurate technical recommendations and cost‑effective solutions.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, estimates, and technical presentations for millwright installations, equipment setting, conveyor systems, and rotating equipment alignment.
- Support process piping projects including stainless, carbon steel, sanitary piping, utility piping, and mechanical system tie‑ins.
- Evaluate CSA requirements such as foundations, insulated metal panels, equipment pads, structural steel modifications, mezzanines, and architectural interfaces.
- Collaborate with engineering, fabrication, and field construction teams to ensure project feasibility, accuracy, and alignment with customer expectations.
- Interpret drawings, P&IDs, structural plans, and equipment specifications to support project development and quoting.
- Track opportunities, manage pipeline activity, and contribute to sales forecasting and strategic growth initiatives.
- Provide post‑sale support including project coordination, change-order management, and customer communication. What We Offer

- Prior experience in industrial sales, estimating, or project development.
- Exposure to food & beverage, manufacturing, or heavy industrial construction environments.
- Understanding of OSHA, plant safety requirements, and safe work practices.
- Experience with CRM systems, quoting software, or project management tools. Required
- 3-10+ years of experience in industrial environments with direct exposure to millwright work, process piping, or CSA construction.
- Strong understanding of mechanical equipment installation, alignment, rigging, and maintenance.
- Working knowledge of piping systems, welding processes, sanitary fabrication, and mechanical tie‑ins.
- Familiarity with concrete foundations, structural steel, and architectural interfaces in industrial facilities.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering documents.
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to customers, project managers, and field crews.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to develop practical, field‑ready solutions.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.
