Overview The Senior Packaging Engineer leads packaging development initiatives from concept through commercialization, supporting new product launches, packaging improvements, supplier qualifications, and cost-reduction programs.

$55-65/hr Hybrid Schedule Key Responsibilities Participate in development of primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging systems. Manage packaging qualification, testing, and commercialization activities. Support manufacturing trials, startup activities, and resolution of packaging-related issues. Create and maintain packaging specifications and technical documentation. Drive cost savings, productivity improvements, and sustainability initiatives. Collaborate with suppliers on packaging development and qualification efforts. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance across teams. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of packaging development experience, preferably in consumer products or similar industries.
