As a Senior Packaging Engineer for LUXE Promo, you will act as a key technical driver in the fast-paced and high-impact world of luxury promotional launches. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will engineer high-quality, sustainable, and cost-effective promotional and secondary packaging solutions while respecting the L'Oréal Conception Process. You will be actively collaborating with cross-functional partners, managing complex technical lifecycles, and bringing courageous, innovative solutions to life to support the growth and prestige of our LUXE brands.Key Responsibilities:
Define, engineer, and optimize technical conceptions according to L'Oréal standards, ensuring they are highly cost-effective to execute by Assembly. Proactively evaluate technical and timeline risks, develop robust mitigation plans, and elevate blocking points to ensure on-time validations. Fully own technical milestones in project timelines to ensure on-time technical validation (including developing conceptions, approving dielines/artwork). Develop clear, comprehensive assembly and finished good instructions for 3rd party and contract manufacturers to ensure seamless production. Define and execute appropriate testing plans; analyze, interpret, and communicate results to stakeholders. Interface directly with Project Managers, Marketing, and Creative brand leads to influence package design options and champion technical feasibility. Drive alignment with external suppliers and contract manufacturers, ensuring adherence to L'Oréal's rigorous quality and technical standards.What We Are Looking For:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering with relevant internship Strong PC skills; MS Office, PowerPoint Good communication skills, to be able to deal effectively with all levels of the organization and our suppliers; experienced presentation skills with large and diverse audiences. Good organizational skills to manage the documentation, materials, and information. Ability to travel up to 25% to domestic and/or international suppliers and contract manufacturing plants. Works well under pressure and able to prioritize workload to meet timeline demands of projects.Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years' experience in package development desired preferably in the cosmetics, consumer goods or related field. Specification management experience (any system) Understanding of production & printing of secondary packaging (i.e. cartons, shrink labels etc.).What's In It For You:
Base Salary Range:
