Software Engineer I (P2) Production AI (Developer Support)
Location:
Redwood City, CA (Hybrid)
Duration:
12 Month About the Role The Production AI team serves as Client s AI enablement function, accelerating adoption of AI tools and platforms across the organization. As a Software Engineer I, you will support internal developers by operating AI systems, resolving technical issues, and improving developer experience through automation and documentation. This is a hands-on, service-oriented engineering role at the intersection of AI platforms, developer support, and system operations . Key Responsibilities Provide frontline support for AI tools and APIs via Slack and internal channels Monitor, triage, and resolve developer issues in a timely manner Operate and maintain internal AI services ensuring reliability and uptime Troubleshoot APIs, integrations, and AI systems; perform root cause analysis Develop and maintain technical documentation (FAQs, guides, runbooks) Identify repetitive issues and build automation/workflows to improve efficiency Collaborate with engineering and product teams to escalate and resolve issues Contribute to minor feature development, bug fixes, and system improvements Participate in on-call rotations and operational support activities Required Qualifications 2+ years of software engineering experience Strong programming skills (Python, TypeScript, Java, or similar) Experience working with APIs and debugging production systems Basic knowledge of cloud environments and DevOps practices Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset Ability to work independently on well-defined tasks Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with generative AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or agent-based systems Experience supporting internal developer platforms/tools Experience writing technical documentation Scripting/automation experience (Python, bots, workflows) Knowledge of observability tools (logging, metrics, alerting) AgreeYa is a global systems integrator delivering competitive advantage for its customers through software, solutions, and services.
