Location:

Fort Mill South Carolina Automation Engineer Seeking an Automation Engineer to develop and implement automation solutions in a manufacturing environment to improve safety, quality, productivity, and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, program, integrate, and troubleshoot automated systems, robotics, PLCs, and controls. Lead automation projects from concept through commissioning. Identify opportunities to automate manual and repetitive processes. Perform root-cause analysis and process optimization. Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, and IT teams. Provide technical guidance and training to plant teams.

Must-Haves:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Automation Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of manufacturing/industrial automation experience. Experience with PLC programming, robotics, SCADA, and industrial controls . Knowledge of Rockwell or Siemens automation systems. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Root Cause Analysis . Strong troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills. Willingness to travel 40-50% .
