The Production Technology Engineer - Grinding is responsible for optimizing and supporting grinding processes in manufacturing to ensure high product quality, stable production performance, and continuous improvement. This role focuses on process development, troubleshooting, industrialization, and productivity enhancement within grinding operations.
Your Key Responsibilities Develop, optimize, and standardize grinding processes for new and existing products. Support industrialization of manufacturing processes, from concept phase to serial production. Analyze process data to improve quality, cycle time, cost, and machine utilization. Troubleshoot process-related issues in grinding operations and implement corrective actions. Define and improve process parameters, tooling, fixtures, and machining strategies. Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, R D, and Engineering teams. Lead or support continuous improvement initiatives such as lean manufacturing and waste reduction. Evaluate and implement new technologies, equipment, and automation solutions for grinding. Prepare and maintain process documentation, work instructions, and technical reports. Support root cause analysis for process deviations, scrap, and customer complaints. Train operators and production staff on grinding process standards and best practices. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental requirements. Your Qualifications
