Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION
To assist Engineering with troubleshooting day to day production floor issues, NPI builds and activity, updating and creating assembly SOPs & Visual Aids, Operations Training, Reworks, and cable file creation for
CCBU. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create and Update assembly SOPs for CCBU. Assist with NPI builds and help lead activity on production floor to meet TRI date and shipment. Assist Engineering with Pre-TRI documentation. Create and maintain cable files for CCBU. Assist in the implementation of ECN's and reworks needed for production. Provide Training to Operations regarding new products and processes. Take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues; able to reason, even when dealing with emotional topics Work with cross functional teams to develop and implement process improvement projects. Collect, maintain and analyze data and metrics to improve TAT and FPY. Assist with resolving Engineering Holds in a timely manner Ability to deal with unresolved situations, frequent change, delays or unexpected events. Able to start and persist with specific courses of action while exhibiting high motivation and a sense of urgency
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Associates degree in mechanical, manufacturing or industrial engineering or equivalent preferred. Two (2) years of manufacturing experience preferred.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES PC
skills including Windows, MS Work, MS Excel, MS access or related software. Creative problem-solving ability and strong communication skills. Must be a team player that can work efficiently under minimal supervision. Ability to function and execute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment Strong sense of process, detail and follow through Strong set of problem solving and analytical skills; Ability to multi-task across problem domains and various contexts Ability to work independently and with a team Clearly present information through the spoken word #LI-DNI
