Job Description Insight Global is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support one of our largest automotive clients at their Spring Hill Assembly Plant. This individual will work directly within the General Assembly organization and be responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives that improve safety, quality, productivity, and overall manufacturing performance.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

Support the General Assembly production area by identifying and implementing process improvements to optimize manufacturing operations and increase throughput. Conduct detailed time studies and labor analysis to evaluate workstation effectiveness, cycle times, and operator utilization. Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and constraints impacting line performance and vehicle output. Develop and implement line balancing strategies to improve workflow, reduce downtime, and ensure operations consistently meet takt time requirements. Create, modify, and maintain manufacturing layouts using AutoCAD and other engineering tools to improve material flow, ergonomics, and overall plant efficiency. Similar responsibilities have been performed by GM Industrial Engineers supporting production layouts and automation initiatives.
