Industrial Engineer - Time Studies Stark Solutions is seeking an Industrial Engineer to conduct production time studies and establish accurate labor standards across our manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on, floor-focused position. You will observe manufacturing activities, measure setup and cycle times, analyze production data, and work with supervisors and employees to ensure established standards accurately reflect the work being performed. Responsibilities Conduct time studies throughout the manufacturing operation. Identify delays, bottlenecks, unnecessary movement, and other factors affecting production time. Work directly with production employees and supervisors to understand manufacturing processes. Validate time standards when processes, equipment, materials, or work methods change. Maintain organized time-study records and supporting documentation. Prepare reports and communicate time-study findings to management. Recommend practical improvements to work methods, workflow, and production efficiency. Support continuous improvement and standard-work initiatives as needed. Qualifications Associate/Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations, or a related field. Experience conducting manufacturing time studies, work measurement, cycle-time analysis, or labor-standard development. Understanding of manufacturing processes and production-floor operations. Strong observation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis. Experience working with ERP systems. Ability to communicate effectively with production employees, supervisors, and management. Comfortable spending most of the workday on the manufacturing floor. Work Schedule Full-time, on-site position Monday through Friday Physical Requirements and Work Environment This position requires regular presence in active manufacturing areas to observe work processes and conduct time studies.

Essential job functions include:

Remaining on the production floor for extended periods while observing and documenting manufacturing activities. Moving throughout production areas and accessing workstations where time studies are conducted. Operating a computer, tablet, stopwatch, and other standard time-study equipment. Accurately observing work processes and recording production data. Wearing required personal protective equipment and following all established safety procedures. Working around manufacturing equipment and in areas where noise, dust, fumes, and temperature variations may be present.
