A Production Engineer combines knowledge of manufacturing technology and engineering sciences with management theory. Designs the production steps, defines and monitors resources needed, and evaluates efficiency of the overall process.
Dallas, TX (Hybrid, 3 days onsite) Minimum Qualifications 5+ years supporting Azure-hosted production applications Prior hands-on software development experience with C#/.NET/ASP.NET in Azure Experience troubleshooting complex production incidents across application, cloud, deployment, and infrastructure layers Experience with Azure Monitor and Application Insights for logs, metrics, traces, and exception analysis Ability to read/debug .NET code to identify root causes of production issues Knowledge of DNS, HTTP, routing, APIs, connectivity, and basic networking concepts Experience supporting production releases and post-deployment troubleshooting Scripting/automation experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, Logic Apps, APIs, or Webhooks Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple technical teams Preferred Qualifications Experience with Azure App Services, Function Apps, Service Bus, Event Hub, Event Grid, Front Door, CDN, or Azure SQL Experience with observability platforms such as Grafana, Datadog, Dynatrace, or Prometheus Experience improving monitoring, alert quality, and operational processes Background in high-availability environments such as fintech, healthcare, or payments Azure certifications Startup or high-growth environment experience Responsibilities Own and drive technical resolution of production incidents for Azure-hosted applications Troubleshoot issues across application code, Azure services, deployments, configurations, APIs, and dependencies Use Azure telemetry, logs, traces, metrics, and stack traces to identify root cause Support production deployments and resolve post-release issues Partner with developers, cloud engineers, networking, platform, and database teams during incidents Improve monitoring, alerting, operational processes, and proactive risk identification Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, Logic Apps, APIs, and related tools Create and maintain operational documentation and knowledge-sharing materials Day-to-Day Breakdown 40% Production Support & Incident Response 20% Release Support 40% Proactive Monitoring, Risk Identification & Operational Improvements
