Job Description

## Standard Job Description Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations. Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems. On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods. May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities. ## Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAE tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation software (e.g., Arena, Simio) is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of Lean manufacturing, 5S, and Six‑Sigma concepts.
  • Strong quantitative and problem‑solving skills; ability to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams. ## Desired Skills
  • Internship or co‑op experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certified Lean Six‑Sigma Green Belt or coursework in process improvement.
  • Experience with data‑analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel, Python, R).
  • Familiarity with production scheduling and inventory control concepts.
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range:

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
