Process Engineer

Utex Industries is seeking a motivated Process Engineer to support process improvement initiatives, new product introductions, and the development and implementation of efficient manufacturing processes. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring new products from concept through production while improving existing operations.

What You'll Do:

• Review customer specifications and develop part designs to meet application requirements
• Develop and implement new products from initial concept through product launch
• Support new process development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Develop, apply, and maintain consistent labor and material standards
• Design and develop tooling, equipment, and materials to support new product startups and improve existing processes
• Prepare part quotations and support cost analysis activities
• Interpret Finite Element Analysis (FEA) results with minimal training
• Follow all company safety procedures at all times
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the supervisor

What We're Looking For:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Mechanical Desktop
• Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
• Working knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel
• Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to understand and interpret engineering analysis and technical data
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2+ years of relevant work-related experience

Work Environment:

You'll work in both manufacturing and office environments, using tools and equipment daily. PPE and steel-toed footwear are required.

Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Why UTEX?
