UTEX Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead our engineering team and drive safe, efficient, and scalable manufacturing operations. This role focuses on improving production performance, supporting new product launches, and ensuring processes, equipment, and tooling meet quality, delivery, and cost targets.

What You'll Do:

Lead and develop the Manufacturing Engineering teamDrive process improvements, standardization, and KPI performance (efficiency, scrap, uptime, delivery)Own tooling strategy, equipment selection, and capital project executionSupport new product industrialization and production readinessPartner with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teamsIdentify and resolve manufacturing issues through root cause analysisEnsure accurate routings, labor standards, and costing inputs

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related)10+ years of manufacturing engineering or operations experienceProven leadership and team development experienceExperience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement toolsKnowledge of molding, extrusion, or similar manufacturing processes preferredERP system experience and strong problem-solving skills

Work Environment:

Full-time, Monday-FridayCombination of office and manufacturing floorOccasional evenings/weekends as neededUp to20% of travelMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physical environment Why UTEX?
