Industrial Engineer - Aerospace Manufacturing We're recruiting an experienced Industrial Engineer to join a well-established aerospace manufacturer in the Seattle area that is investing significantly in advanced manufacturing and next-generation aerospace technologies. This is a hands-on role focused on improving manufacturing efficiency, capacity and production readiness across a complex aerospace environment. The Role You'll be responsible for: Developing and improving manufacturing processes and production flow Conducting time studies, cycle-time analysis and line balancing Supporting capacity planning, labor requirements and manufacturing readiness Improving factory layouts, workstations and material flow Identifying bottlenecks and opportunities to increase throughput Supporting the industrialization and introduction of new products Working with Engineering and Manufacturing teams on DFM/DFA Supporting new equipment, tooling and automation projects Driving Lean, Kaizen and continuous improvement activities Using manufacturing data to improve cost, quality and productivity What We're Looking For Experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Industrialization Strong understanding of capacity planning, cycle times, process flow and production optimization Experience within aerospace, space, defence or complex manufacturing preferred Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with composites manufacturing would be advantageous This is an excellent opportunity to join an established aerospace business that's investing in new products, advanced manufacturing technologies and automation, with plenty of scope to make a visible impact on how products are industrialized and manufactured.
