UST is searching for Consumer Product Packaging Engineer located in either Summit, NJ or Fort Washington, PA.The opportunity:
- Working closely with Packaging Suppliers Manage Cost Improvement initiatives
- Conduct and manage Packaging Testing Initiation and Review of Change Control documentation; Writing Technical Justifications
- Must work closely as part of cross-functional team External Manufacturing experience preferred.
Support and Coordinate Packaging Activities:
Primary Packaging contact with all relevant internal parties and Suppliers and Contract Manufacturing Sites- Develop and provide necessary documentation for NDP such as Development Plan, Technical Review forum, APR statements, technical memos, etc
- Serve as Packaging Representative on cross functional teams to plan and coordinate all package engineering related functions related to specification changes
- Work with R D and Ops to develop any technical validation plans required to initiate specification updates.
What you need:
- 5 - 7 years professional experience. BS Degree in Packaging Engineering (or equivalent) is preferred.
