Position Title:
Senior Manufacturing Engineer Wage:
Based on Experience Build, Improve, and Make an Impact in a Growing Manufacturing Environment A rapidly growing, privately held manufacturer is looking to add a Manufacturing Engineer to their team in Waukesha County. This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you'll drive process improvements, support automation initiatives, and play a key role in scaling operations within a fast-growing division. If you enjoy designing solutions, improving how things are built, and working in an environment where your ideas are actually implemented—this is a strong opportunity to step into.
What You'll Be Doing:
Design and improve manufacturing processes, workflows, and assembly methods Develop fixtures, tooling, and gages to support production efficiency Lead and support automation initiatives (equipment selection, process improvements) Partner with engineering to optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM) Drive lean and continuous improvement projects Optimize labor, workflow, and plant layout Support quality initiatives and production troubleshooting
What They're Looking For:
5-10+ years in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and processes Experience with fixture/tooling design and process improvement Hands-on background in assembly, machining, fabrication, or welding environments CAD experience (SolidWorks or similar) Self-directed, problem solver who thrives in a hands-on environment
