Additional information about the company can be found at WhirlpoolCorp.com. ## The team you will be a part of The Supplier Quality team lead, manage and monitor the performance, quality and continuous improvement of our global supplier base. ## This role in summary This role is critical in ensuring that suppliers meet our standards for quality, delivery, cost and innovation, and will play a key role in supporting new product introductions and strategic sourcing projects. ## Your responsibilities will include

• Leading supplier assessments and audits to evaluate their manufacturing processes, quality systems and capabilities
• Working closely with suppliers to address quality issues, processing non conformances and deviation requests.,
• Driving corrective and preventive actions and implementing robust development plans to enhance supplier performance.
• Managing all aspects of Production part approval process
• Developing receiving inspection plans ## Minimum requirements
• 5+ years of experience in a supplier or quality engineering role
• Bachelors degree in Mechanical, electrical, quality or industrial engineering, Masters preferred
• Knowledge of and experience with ISO 9001 and

IATF 16949

Quality management systems ## Preferred skills and experiences

• Strong proficiency with problem solving methods such as 8D, Fishbone diagram, 5 Why's etc.,
• Proven competency in core quality tools such as Control plans, FMEA, Capability studies, Gage R&R, Gage correlation etc.,
• Working knowledge of Advanced product quality planning and Production part approval process
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
