- Leading supplier assessments and audits to evaluate their manufacturing processes, quality systems and capabilities
- Working closely with suppliers to address quality issues, processing non conformances and deviation requests.,
- Driving corrective and preventive actions and implementing robust development plans to enhance supplier performance.
- Managing all aspects of Production part approval process
- Developing receiving inspection plans ## Minimum requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a supplier or quality engineering role
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical, electrical, quality or industrial engineering, Masters preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with ISO 9001 and
IATF 16949
Quality management systems ## Preferred skills and experiences- Strong proficiency with problem solving methods such as 8D, Fishbone diagram, 5 Why's etc.,
- Proven competency in core quality tools such as Control plans, FMEA, Capability studies, Gage R&R, Gage correlation etc.,
- Working knowledge of Advanced product quality planning and Production part approval process
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time
