S. manufacturer that is looking to add a Production Engineer to its team in Richland Center. This is a highly visible role where you'll serve as the primary engineering resource within the plant, working closely with operations, quality, purchasing, and production teams to improve processes, solve manufacturing challenges, and support continued growth. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the shop floor, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and making a direct impact on day-to-day manufacturing operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Support and improve manufacturing processes, systems, and workflows
- Develop and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and production documentation
- Drive engineering changes and process improvements
- Troubleshoot production challenges and identify root causes
- Partner with quality teams on corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support ERP, CAD, and manufacturing systems
- Collaborate across engineering, production, purchasing, and leadership teams
- Serve as a key technical resource within the facility
What They're Looking For:
- 5+ years of manufacturing, production, or process engineering experience
- Experience supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations
- Strong knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand manufacturing processes
- Continuous Improvement, Lean, or 5S experience
- Strong communication skills and a hands-on approach to problem solving
