Full-Time Join a fast-paced engineering and manufacturing team supporting the development of innovative automotive products. We are seeking a hands-on Mechanical Technician to assist with assembly, inventory management, material handling, and laboratory organization in a prototype environment. Job Duties Support prototype assembly operations through kitting, material preparation, and part movement. Build and assemble high-voltage distribution systems and low-voltage wire harnesses following standardized work instructions. Assist with inventory management, documentation, and bill of materials (BOM) verification. Perform instrumentation support activities, including thermocouple (TC) creation and inventory checks. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe prototype lab using 5S and EHS best practices. Disassemble and scrap end-of-life electronic components to support inventory control. Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely and efficiently. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support prototype builds and testing activities. Qualifications Basic knowledge of electrical circuits, electronic components, and bills of materials (BOMs). Experience using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions accurately. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Good verbal and written communication skills. Flexible, dependable, and comfortable working in a dynamic laboratory environment. Commitment to workplace safety and organization.
