Role Overview We are seeking a hands-on, self-motivated Equipment Maintenance Technician with 5-7 years of semiconductor experience to support our manufacturing operations. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize high-precision fabrication equipment to maximize tool uptime and ensure peak production quality.
Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot & Repair:
Rapidly diagnose and resolve complex mechanical, electrical, and control system failures using root-cause analysis (5-Whys, Fishbone).
Preventive Maintenance:
Perform scheduled PMs according to procedures to minimize equipment downtime and tool failure.
Continuous Improvement:
Partner with Engineering to increase tool availability, reduce PM cycle times, and minimize wafer scrap.
Documentation & Data:
Accurately log maintenance activities, failures, and operational data in tracking systems.
Team Development:
Assist in training and certifying team members on maintenance protocols.
Qualifications Experience:
5 to 7 years in semiconductor equipment maintenance in a Class 100 cleanroom.
Core Skills:
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting; ability to read complex schematics, mechanical drawings, and control/PLC logic.
Tool Domain Expertise:
Hands-on experience with at least one key equipment domain: Vacuum / Deposition /
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed. Preferred Credentials Associate Degree in Electronics/Mechanical Engineering or military technical training (Navy ET/EM/Nuke, Avionics, etc.). Working knowledge of RF generators (RF350, RF240) and vacuum systems. SR1

$40.00 - $44.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 44.0 per week Shift availability: Night Shift (Required) Overnight Shift (Required)
