Responsible for the accurate and timely distribution of inspection reports and for data entry for materials shipped. Maintains professional relationships with all producers, suppliers, local and county officials, and others involved in the production and use of materials. Provides advice and assistance to producers and suppliers upon request. Performs nuclear density tests on bases, shoulders, and pavements, earthwork, and aggregate base course. Performs and supervises Hot-Mix Asphalt ( HMA ) and Portland Cement Concrete ( PCC ) quality assurance testing. Maintains and calibrates laboratory equipment. Performs duties in compliance with departmental safety rules. Performs duties in a manner conducive to the fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
