Ability to use multiple technical tools and applications to access information needed for schematics, diagnostics, retrofit activities, and related work. Experience supporting vehicle root-cause analysis and issue resolution. Soldering experience at the board, connector, and harness levels. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, as well as SharePoint and Outlook. Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively across functions, teams, and cultures. Business Group

• supporting software and engineering & software and electronics Team structure
• team is smaller, they have 3 technicians and want to grow the team to 7 total by the end of the year, all of the team members are very high energy and great to work with. The manager sits in Milford, most of the team is in Warren currently so the manager will be traveling there more often. They have a few meetings a week Safety observation tour once a week
• meet their requirement of the safety department, find issues and make sure they are fixed Group huddle once a week Removing modules, for example an OnStar or airbag module Removing some parts swapping them out for another one, testing it, wash rinse repeat this cycle over and over again They might update the software in this module, do some diagnosis of what the problem is.

Be able to supply their own tools

• basic tools (access modules, be hands on, hand tools)
