You will leverage your technical expertise to interpret engineering schematics, ensure rigorous quality standards, and mentor team members to drive operational excellence. Responsibilities Construct and calibrate mechanical assemblies for high-voltage switchgear and breaker systems by strictly adhering to technical blueprints. Conduct thorough in-process quality inspections to identify potential risks and ensure all components meet exact engineering specifications. Perform root cause analysis on design discrepancies and implement effective corrective actions to maintain production flow. Lead team efforts in shipping preparation, including tracking material shortages and coordinating with quality control departments. Provide hands-on training and technical guidance to junior team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Execute precise mechanical adjustments and hardware installations to guarantee optimal product performance. Champion a proactive safety culture by maintaining an organized workspace and strictly following all industrial safety protocols. Qualifications Required Skills 4+ years of hands-on experience in a complex manufacturing or industrial assembly environment. Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting single-line and three-line mechanical drawings and symbols. Strong mathematical aptitude, including the ability to perform accurate conversions between fractions, decimals, and metric/imperial units. Demonstrated experience safely operating a wide range of hand and power tools. Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work comfortably at heights using appropriate fall protection equipment. Preferred Skills Experience utilizing ERP or MES software systems for parts lookup and drawing management. Proven ability to adapt to evolving technologies, engineering changes, and new manufacturing processes. Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of identifying efficiency improvements in production workflows. Commitment to maintaining ISO compliance and high standards of ethical decision-making.
