The Department of Mechanical Engineering is looking for a
- _Laboratory Technician_
- to assist with 10 hours of departmental lab and facilities management. The Laboratory Technician performs routine laboratory processes and follows routine protocols under close supervision.
- Specific Duties & Responsibilities
- + Operate standard equipment. + Use standard procedures for specific laboratory tests and preparation techniques. + Assist with laboratory maintenance, prepare solutions, and order supplies. + Identify and report problems in the completion of routine lab processes. + Other duties as assigned.
- Minimum Qualifications
- + High school diploma or graduation equivalent. + Additional education may substitute for required experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
- Preferred Qualifications
- + Some science coursework and/or training certificate from a technical institute.
