    $20/hour
      HOURS:
      40 hours/week

        Monday-Friday; 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

            Mechanical Technician Job Description:
            We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to provide hands-on technical support at a customer location. This is a customer-facing position dedicated to one customer site, with no travel required. The technician will perform general maintenance, repairs, service tasks, and demonstrations involving various mechanical equipment while providing technical support to the customer's maintenance team.
            Responsibilities :
            • Perform on-site repairs, maintenance, and general service tasks using basic mechanical hand tools.
            • Provide maintenance support and training to in-house maintenance staff when needed.
            • Conduct product demonstrations of basic mechanical equipment.
            • Read and understand technical diagrams, manuals, and documentation.
            • Provide technical guidance and expertise when applicable.
            • Use an iPad to complete work orders, send and receive emails, and participate in team calls.
            • Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical individuals.
            • Manage multiple projects and tasks with minimal supervision.
            • Maintain strong customer service and organizational skills.
            • Perform other duties as assigned.
            Qualifications for
            Mechanical Technician:
            • High school diploma required; Associate degree in a technology-related field such as mechanical, electrical, or electronics is preferred.
            • Broad knowledge of mechanical hand tools and basic mechanical principles.
            • Ability to understand technical diagrams and manuals.
            • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
            • Comfortable using iPads and other technology to complete work-related tasks.
            • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
            • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
            • Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
            • Strong reasoning, decision-making, organizational, and customer service skills.
            • Adaptable to changing priorities and tight deadlines.
            • Must be willing to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
            • Must be able to remain on your feet for extended periods of time.
            • Must be able to safely use basic hand tools and follow all site safety requirements.
            PPE /
            Tools:
            • Company tools will be provided.
            • Steel-toe work boots / protective footwear is required.
            Physical Requirements:
            • Must be able to lift and carry tools and parts weighing up to 20 lbs.
            • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
            • Must be able to push and pull carts with equipment weighing up to 60 lbs.
            • Must be able to bend, squat, walk, stand, and/or sit for prolonged periods of time.
            Additional Requirements:
            • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
            • Reliable transportation to the job site is required.
            • Pre-employment drug screen and background check is required.
