Anticipated Start Date Mar. 17, 2026 Location Houston, TX Type of Employment Contract-to-Hire Employer Info Our client specializes in engineering and fabrication of rig systems, wellbore technologies, and completion and production solutions. Job Summary We are seeking a temporary Mechanical Technician to assist with commissioning the Breen Test Lab. Responsibilities include using power and hand tools, reading layout drawings, installing hardware according to specifications, and lifting to 50 lbs as needed. Job Description Utilize power tools and hand tools (including wrenches and other equipment) to perform maintenance and installation tasks Read and interpret technical drawings, layouts, and schematics to ensure proper assembly and installation of hardware Connect and install hardware components according to the provided layout drawings and specifications Perform basic maintenance, repairs, and equipment adjustments as required Safely handle tools, materials, and equipment while following safety procedures Lift, move, and position materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area Assist with general maintenance tasks and support team operations when required Skills Required Previous experience utilizing power tools and hand tools Ability to read and interpret drawings and layouts Able to lift to 50 lbs
