As a Mechanical Engineer you will contribute to the design, development and engineering of mechanical systems for complex facilities across domestic and international projects.

Lead Mechanical Engineer Salary Range:

$143,140•$224,000

Senior Mechanical Engineer Salary Range:

$102,724•$113,000

Mechanical Engineer Salary Range:

$84,285•$133,000 Essential Job Responsibilities Researches, plans, designs, verifies, validates and develops mechanical and/or electromechanical products and systems, such as metals, instruments, controls, plastics, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, resonance, hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Recommends various technology options or approaches for system, processes, facility or program improvements in terms of safety, performance, efficiency or costs. May be responsible for the transfer from R and D to manufacturing.

Minimum Qualifications Lead Mechanical Engineer (Engineer Mechanical 5): 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field. Minimum of five (5) years experience working as a Mechanical Engineer in a commercial environment. Experience implementing Building Automation and System Experience with OCONUS installation service and maintenance Senior Mechanical Engineer (Engineer Mechanical 3): 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. Minimum of three (3) years experience working as a Mechanical Engineer in a commercial environment. Experience implementing Building Automation and System Mechanical Engineer (Engineer Mechanical 2): 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; or 0 years experience with Masters in related field. Minimum of two (2) years experience working as a Mechanical Engineer in a commercial environment.

Technical & Additional Requirements:

All levels must possess an active TS/SCI clearance Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam Experience utilizing 3-dimensional drafting tools such as CAD, Solidworks, and Revit Experience working with other development contractors and trades to include non-traditional applications Preferred Requirements Lead Mechanical Engineer (Engineer Mechanical 5): Professional Engineering license (PE) Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams Experience with mechanical industry best practices, regulations and safety standards Senior Mechanical Engineer (Engineer Mechanical 4): Professional Engineering license (PE) Experience working in multidisciplinary engineering teams Proficiency with electrical industry best practices, regulations and safety standards Previous experience working on large teams Mechanical Engineer (Engineer Mechanical 2): Experience working on USG contracts Experience with mechanical industry best practices, regulations and safety standards Experience working on teams Demonstrated experience implementing Building Automation and Systems Physical Requirements May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
