Position Summary Xscindo Wyoming is seeking a dependable and motivated Plant Technician to support daily operations at our advanced electronic-waste processing facility. Reporting to the Plant Operator, this role assists with safe material handling, equipment loading and unloading, routine inspections and preventive maintenance, shredding, screening, separation, and recovery of ferrous metals, aluminum, copper, and other critical metals. This position is ideal for someone interested in industrial operations, recycling technology, and sustainable resource recovery. Key Responsibilities

• Sort, stage, weigh, and prepare incoming end-of-life electronics for processing; identify oversized material and obvious steel or aluminum as directed.
• Assist the Plant Operator with loading, container connection and inversion, PC positioning, unloading, startup, and shutdown activities.
• Operate or support the ball mill, presorting, screening, magnetic separation, and preparation of recovered metals for shipment.
• Support shredder operation as part of a two-person team, including staging material, loading the conveyor, rotating two 96-gallon collection totes, and cleaning material that misses the totes.
• Inspect the shredder and check fluids before use; grease required shredder points
• Assist with routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance, including PC lubrication, thermal oxidizer inlet checks, forklift pre-use checks, baghouse checks, and screen cleaning as assigned.
• Accurately record incoming weights, pre- and post-thermal-processing weights, recovered material fractions, feedstock movement, and mass-balance information.
• Assist the Plant Operator or General Manager with material chain-of-custody processes, receiving, documentation, recordkeeping, packing, and shipping.
• Follow all safety procedures, job safety analyses, work permits, PPE/RPE requirements, environmental controls, and R2/ISO procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas; keep access routes and fire exits clear; immediately report abnormal equipment conditions, spills, near misses, or safety concerns. Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent and ability to work safely in an industrial plant environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude, strong attention to detail, and ability to follow technical instructions and accurately complete logs.
• Dependability, integrity, a strong work ethic, and a team-oriented, safety-focused approach.
• Ability to learn forklift operation, industrial equipment, material identification, and plant procedures. Preferred Qualifications - A Plus
• Experience in manufacturing, recycling, mining, scrap-metal handling, electronic waste, or other industrial operations.
• Forklift certification or experience operating material-handling equipment.
• Familiarity with pyrolysis or thermal-processing systems and basic understanding of temperature, pressure, differential pressure, airflow, material flow, gauges, and operating trends.
• Industrial troubleshooting skills and ability to recognize abnormal equipment or process conditions. Physical and Employment Requirements
• Standing and walking for extended periods; frequent lifting, bending, reaching, and moving material.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to work around industrial equipment and varying temperatures while using required PPE, including respirators when needed.
• Ability to work safely at heights, including ladders, platforms, and elevated work areas, with required fall-protection equipment.
• Successful completion of a background check prior to hire.

Compensation and Benefits Wage is up to $25.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience. Benefits include 10 days of PTO, 5 days of sick time, 2 personal days, and the ability to participate in group medical, dental, and vision plans.
