What We're Looking For:
SUMMARY Barge Design Solutions is a Senior Engineer to assit with the development and design of engineering documents and other related project tasks.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree from an accredited engineering program. Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience. Engineer Intern (EI) / Engineer in Training (EIT) certification required. SKILLS Working knowledge of civil site design, including site layout, grading, storm drainage, utilities, and erosion & sedimentation control. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word. Working knowledge of other essential equipment and software for field and office work.
Education & Experience Qualifications:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, permits, and engineering designs for projects. Assists with client communication and attends client meetings as needed. Analyzes reports, maps, drawings, and test data to support project planning and design. Uses computer-assisted engineering and design software to prepare engineering documents. Accompanies Engineers on site visits as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Occasionally climb 25-30 feet. Occasionally lift up to 40 lbs. Visual acuity sufficient to read alpha/numeric symbols for computation and design.
