Job Summary This Engineering Co-Op position supports the Ft. Smith, Arkansas Engineering site in achieving engineering objectives while providing the Co-Op student with hands-on experience in motor design, documentation, and manufacturing support. This role offers exposure to cross-functional collaboration, process improvement, and industry-standard engineering practices, providing a meaningful learning experience while contributing to real engineering projects.
Job Description Responsibilities:
Creating and modifying drawings. Coordinate with engineers and manufacturing to ensure that all customer requirements are met Review industry standards for requirements and compliance Create and modify BOM's and other documentation to support customer and manufacturing requirements Collaborate with all functions of the business in driving quality and process improvement initiatives Will work closely with leaders on expediting documentation changes
Minimum Qualification:
Associate degree in an applied science or engineering field desired or at least 60 hours of technical education Enrolled in an
Engineering Program Preferred Qualification:
5+ years of electric motor manufacturing experience Possesses strong problem-solving skills with experience in IHP motor design and process desired.
