Senior Lead I&C Engineer Exyte United States, Arizona, Chandler 570 North 54th Street (Show on map) Aug 31, 2026 Discover your exciting role The Senior Lead I&C Engineer participates in a team environment consisting of engineers and designers to produce construction documents for the following systems: Instrumentation and Controls, telecommunications, fire alarm, and security. Explore your tasks and responsibilities
Performs the engineering tasks for the design of technology systems for high technology facilities including cleanrooms, general manufacturing/process facilities and institutional
Assists in providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise
Coordinates with the project team and other disciplines as well as other design offices
Develops the conceptual design, preliminary design and final design documents which would include the development of technology schematic diagrams, technology equipment layout, cable routing, details, and the like
Assists in providing specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise
Coordinates with disciplines in the preparation and development of the deliverables and ensuring those other disciplines' inputs are incorporated
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise
Assists in developing studies and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost effective work by discipline team
Works to build and maintain positive and productive working relationships both internal and external
Ability to mentor and train junior staff

Minimum Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required
Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
Nation Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) Record preferred
8+ years of experience Preferred Prior experience in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
Prior experience as a consulting engineer preferred
Prior experience with Advanced Technology
Experience working within a team environment
Experience in the quality control review process
Experience contributing to continuous improvement processes Specific Skills & Knowledge General knowledge of codes and common industry standards related to the design of industrial and manufacturing facilities and systems
Good time management skills, strong work ethic and attention to details
Proficient in the use of Autodesk Building Systems Software
Good verbal and written communication skills
Individual must possess strong communication and organizational skills
Strong team player with an ability to build effective working relationships
Energetic and self-motivated
Working knowledge of Microsoft products
