The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing engineering, electromechanical assembly and testing, shop orders/routers, tooling, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis within a regulated industry. The engineer will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and shop-floor teams to develop manufacturing routers, assembly instructions, qualification and rework shop orders, and provide hands-on technical support during assembly, testing, and qualification. Experience with analog/digital electronics, PCB design and testing, AC/DC and brushless motor controls, ERP/MRP systems, and aerospace standards is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Generate shop orders, work orders, and manufacturing routers for NPI hoist assembly and testing. Develop visual assembly instructions, work instructions, and job aids. Create qualification and rework shop orders based on testing results. Work with the Material Review Board (MRB) to address rework, repair, and modification requirements. Design, modify, and implement mechanical tooling, assembly aids, and electrical test equipment. Provide hands-on shop-floor support during assembly, testing, and qualification. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and perform root cause analysis. Document technical issues, corrective actions, and solutions. Support product qualification and test rejection disposition. Ensure manufacturing processes comply with applicable safety, quality, regulatory, and certification requirements. Communicate technical issues and project status effectively with engineering and manufacturing teams.
