We are seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering teams, driving innovation, product development, and execution of complex capital equipment projects. This role requires strong technical depth in industrial machinery, automation, and capital equipment design, combined with proven leadership of multi-disciplinary engineering organizations. Key Responsibilities Lead the Mechanical and Electrical Engineering departments, ensuring alignment with business and project goals Develop and execute engineering strategies for product development, R D, and continuous improvement Drive end-to-end capital equipment design from concept through prototype, production, and customer delivery Collaborate closely with Sales and Project Management to support new business, product definition, and customer requirements Oversee design reviews to ensure compliance with engineering standards, customer specifications, and industrial norms Lead improvements in manufacturing efficiency, quality, cost reduction, and process optimization Guide technical development in areas such as equipment design, process flow, FEA/CFD analysis, and automation integration Oversee customer technical presentations and ensure engineering excellence in proposals and delivery Manage engineering budgets, resource allocation, staffing, and performance evaluations Provide executive-level reporting on engineering performance, cost control, and project status Ensure effective use of CAD tools, automation systems, and engineering software across teams Promote innovation in industrial automation, controls, and advanced manufacturing technologies Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required) 7-10 years of experience in industrial machinery/capital equipment design and manufacturing (OEM environment required) 3-5 years of engineering management experience leading Mechanical and Electrical teams Strong background in industrial automation and controls (PLC, HMI, SCADA systems) Hands-on experience with CAD software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Proven experience in capital equipment product development from concept to production Strong leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities Experience working within structured engineering organizations and cross-functional teams Preferred Experience Vacuum furnaces, thermal processing, or heat treatment equipment Industrial coating systems, semiconductor tools, or heavy industrial machinery OEMs Allen-Bradley PLCs (500/5000), Wonderware Intouch, HC900 Design Station FEA/CFD analysis tools Mechanical engineering knowledge supporting electromechanical systems Additional Information On-site role in Corona, CA (in-office collaboration required) Limited relocation assistance (moving truck only) Preference for candidates within commuting distance (Inland Empire region) Must demonstrate stability in prior roles and progressive engineering leadership experience
