Job Description
About the Role Join our precision manufacturing team as a CNC Milling Specialist, where you will craft complex injection molding and extrusion components from high-performance alloys. You will play a critical role in producing custom, one-off parts by utilizing advanced multi-axis machining techniques to meet exacting engineering specifications. Responsibilities Execute full-cycle machining processes, including setup, program editing, and precision milling of complex helix geometries on 4-axis VMC equipment. Ensure the highest quality standards by performing rigorous in-process inspections and deburring on alloy, tool steel, and Inconel components. Adapt to a dynamic production environment by troubleshooting and adjusting programs in real-time to accommodate unique part requirements. Operate a variety of manual equipment, including knee mills, horizontal boring mills, and lathes, to support diverse project needs. Translate detailed engineering prints and technical instructions into finished, high-precision components. Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize machining strategies for low-volume, high-complexity production runs. Qualifications Required Skills Proven proficiency in G-Code and M-Code programming and editing. Extensive experience with CNC machine setup, changeover, and operation on Fanuc or Haas controllers. Strong background in manual machining and traditional shop floor practices. Ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical documentation with high attention to detail. Preferred Skills Experience machining high-temperature alloys such as Inconel or specialized tool steels. Demonstrated success in a custom, low-volume, or prototype machining environment. Advanced knowledge of 4-axis milling operations and rotary head integration.
