The Design Engineer will interact with Clients, Engineering Staff, and Building Departments to effectively and efficiently design the projects according to varying requirements.
Responsibilities:
Prepare permit structural engineering packages in accordance with jurisdictional requirements; Preparing construction reports and drawings, processing and analyzing data; Structural design and analysis of timber, aluminum, steel and concrete structures; Track jurisdiction specific requirements and provide that information to the Engineering Staff; Communicate with the Engineering Staff members to resolve any redline issues;Requirements:
Graduate of a Civil/Structural Engineering program and hold an F.E. certificate; Strong computer skills including MS Office, Google Docs, ACAD and various related Engineering software; Be knowledgeable of the California Building Code and other Code referenced Standards; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Strong multi-tasking, organizational and time management skills; Professional appearance and interaction; Must be a motivated team player, looking to succeed; Ability to work independently, and in a team setting; Transcript and references must be provided; Benefits forFull-Time Positions:
