Location:

onsite in Hayward, CA Helping an on-demand, autonomous ride-hailing company hire a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to ensure that vehicle assembly, bring-up, and End-of-Line (EOL) testing processes meet high-quality standards. In this role, you'll support the development and implementation of In-Line and End-of-Line quality checks while driving root cause resolution for issues that arise during the manufacturing process. You'll also develop and maintain quality processes, documentation, and controls to improve manufacturing quality and support compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate is an experienced and highly analytical quality engineer with a strong background in manufacturing environments. You're skilled in root cause analysis, FMEA, control plans, and quality data analysis, and you are comfortable working independently while collaborating cross-functionally to resolve complex manufacturing, supplier, and design-related issues. As a Manufacturing Quality Engineer, you'll: Develop and integrate quality and functional checks into manufacturing and End-of-Line processes. Conduct root cause analysis and drive resolution of assembly and manufacturing-related quality issues. Create and maintain PFMEAs and develop, implement, and optimize control plans. Analyze quality data to identify opportunities to improve assembly and testing processes. Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve supplier quality and design-related issues identified during manufacturing. Develop and improve quality policies, procedures, and processes to support alignment with standards such as IATF 16949 and

ISO 9000.

Required skills Engineering Bachelor's Degree in the respective field (Manufacturing, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial) 6-8 years of experience in quality/manufacturing engineering Experience with creating FMEA process / Control Plan / APQP Able to work fully independent with minimal supervision

Preferred Skills:

Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience Process Improvement certification (Lean Six Sigma / Shainin)
