Job Description

Coordinates activities to evaluate and resolve engineering-related production problems.

Interprets engineering drawings and facilitates correction and process improvements on manufacturing operations

Ability to implement Design for Manufacturing principles that include machining, manufacturing, assembly and general operational feasibility study Creates manufacturing plans and detailed digital visual work instructions. Provide redlines and/or updating of Manufacturing Work Instructions on the shop floor.

Investigates reports of defective, damaged, or malfunctioning parts, assemblies, equipment, or systems to determine nature and scope of problem as well as to formulate corrective actions

Assists in tool design when required to help support operations by developing tooling concepts and using of

CAD . CAM

software to model and release of tool drawings.

Reviews and manages the configuration management of manufacturing programs, workflows, MES systems, as applicable by integrating into ERP and PLM systems

Must have a good understanding of

MRB/ERB/CCB

processes and capable of dispositioning and interpreting engineering documents or designs effectively.

Communicates manufacturing plans and processes to internal and external customers through Manufacturing Readiness Reviews.

Continuously work to improve manufacturing methods, efficiency, and product quality. Participate in continuous improvement projects.
