Job Overview:
The Project Engineer will oversee planning and coordinating technical engineering initiatives to make sure they can complete a project within their budget and according to schedule. This role includes upholding project standards by researching compliance regulations, developing project implementation plans and adjusting specifications for elements of a project.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Oversee the technical design and engineering of assigned projects, ensuring alignment with scope and successful project completion. Review and select process equipment, vendors, and subcontractors to meet project requirements. Leverage engineering expertise to coordinate between field construction teams and subcontractors, ensuring the integrity of the engineering design. Lead customer reviews, addressing technical concerns and ensuring alignment with project goals. Collaborate with Plant Manager to resolve issues that arise Collaborate in teams to drive continuous improvement of processes and systems, applying Lean methodologies and concepts. Ensure designs comply with relevant regulations and industry standards. Promote safety through proper design of processes and equipment selection Follow safety protocols and practices while working in the plant. Submit weekly progress reports to senior management. Manage project budgets to ensure cost efficiency. Ensure projects are completed on schedule, meeting customer expectations. Assist with special projects and other tasks as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Ability to oversee and manage projects from design to completion Strong communication and leadership skills Ability to work effectively within teams Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat Ability to work effectively in remote settings Proficient in
AutoCAD Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management. Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering and/or construction. General construction knowledge (preferred). Experience in chemical industry (preferred).
