This role is responsible for ensuring that clean, scalable and performant processes are implemented and that the requirements for the product, production equipment, and processes are transparently aligned. What You'll Do Support end-to-end standardization and optimization of manufacturing and assembly processes across the product life cycle, ensuring compliance with the process architecture. Support process continuous improvement as a core team member in CI efforts representing the production processes (Role Lead Make) Collaborate with Lead Continuous Improvement, Lead Supply Chain, Lead Equipment, Quality, IT, and Operations Revise process requirements and architectural drivers to improve product engineering Influence product design by pointing out possible process improvements that need design changes. (DFM) Optimize process flows for production setup (VSM) Revise requirements for equipment and quality in manufacturing Create technical line layout in collaboration with all stakeholders Revise / Expand technical risk analyses (P-FMEA) as a contributor and implement resulting actions Own the implementation and validation of manufacturing processes. Perform pilot runs, ensure stable ramp up and confirm process capability Monitor performance and stability of manufacturing processes (uptime, yield, SPC) Ensure compliance of manufacturing processes with relevant regulations and standards Monitor production process cost. Supports creation/updates of manufacturing BOM and bill of processes (BOP) Support other activities of the manufacturing engineering roadmap (cost optimization, automation, transfers, integration) Write and update work instructions Support manufacturing processes across global sites (occasional travel) Support audits, regulatory reviews and internal process assessments Who You Are BS in engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Industrial, Production), business engineering or similar Further education in project management is a plus 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process engineering or industrialization Experience with process validation, PFMEA, control plans and standardization Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and related tools Technical knowledge in device manufacturing, and the development of manufacturing equipment and processes Familiarity with industrial manufacturing Willingness and ability to travel globally (approximately 10%) Excellent English communication skills German language skills are a plus Ability to influence, mediate, and organize across hierarchy and divisions Acts as catalyst for good teamwork by demonstrating humility, drive, and strong interpersonal skills Ability to share knowledge, receive feedback, and collaborate well with others Contributes knowledge in development of state-of-the-art manufacturing engineering standards Who We Are At Belimo, we take pride in making our company a rewarding place to work. The base pay for this position ranges from $95,000 - $110,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 15% of an employee's annual base salary.
