Your expertise in machining complex geometries and technical problem-solving will be instrumental in delivering high-quality parts for demanding sectors like aerospace and medical technology. Responsibilities Develop and refine comprehensive process plans to ensure efficient production of new and repeat orders. Author and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis lathes and milling centers to maximize throughput. Oversee New Product Introduction (NPI) cycles, ensuring first-article lots meet rigorous quality standards. Select and procure optimal cutting tools, workholding, and fixtures to maintain operational excellence. Provide hands-on technical support on the shop floor to troubleshoot machining issues and minimize downtime. Collaborate with production leadership to refine scheduling and contribute technical data for accurate project estimation. Maintain documentation including inspection sheets and CAD/CAM data to ensure process consistency. Qualifications Required Skills Proven proficiency in G-Code, M-Code, and advanced CNC programming for multi-axis machines. Strong background in CAD/CAM software and DNC systems. Deep understanding of GD&T and precision metrology for quality assurance. Demonstrated experience machining diverse materials including stainless steel and aluminum. U.S. Person status as required for specific industry compliance. Preferred Skills Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Working knowledge of secondary processes such as NDT, heat treatment, and specialized coatings. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement. Experience with specific controller platforms like Fanuc or similar industrial systems.
