The company employs 250 people, has 175,000 square feet of manufacturing space, and 400+ production machining centers.
Job Description:
The Manufacturing Engineer will support all aspects of production, as well as identify and implement measures for cost savings and manufacturing process improvements. Primary responsibilities will include drawing and updating CAD models, drawings, and assemblies to assist manufacturing operations. A successful candidate will be able to work independently as well as part of a team, be able to multi task, be a self-starter, and be hands on. This is a full-time position, and not eligible for remote working.
Responsibilities to include:
Drawing, reviewing, and updating part models and prints Designing and aiding in the production of workholdings, fixtures, jigs, tooling, and machines Process engineering - streamlining and standardizing specific manufacturing processes Problem solving (researching, understanding, improving) of various manufacturing engineering issues Perform project management responsibilities for assigned manufacturing changes and project startups Design, develop, and implement equipment improvement ideas Monitor and improve tooling and fixtures of specific projects to meet productivity and quality standards Utilize Lean manufacturing tools to identify opportunities for cost reduction and manufacturing process improvements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering Experience working in a production manufacturing setting preferred Full understanding of GD&T standards Knowledge of key engineering systems (Lean, VSM, ECN, Kaizen, PFMEA, APQP. OEE, Poka-yoke, Six Sigma) Excellent problem solving and organizational skills to document improvement efforts Knowledge of production machining strongly preferred (including turning, milling, mill-turn, swiss-turn, multi-spindle turning, broaching, honing, grinding, rotary transfer machining, EDM) Creed Monarch offers a full benefits package for all full time positions Creed Monarch encourages Veterans, returning military, and their spouses to apply.
