Commercial Sewing is seeking a Tooling & Fixture Design Specialist to improve manufacturing operations through innovative tooling, fixture design, and process improvements. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving production challenges, and developing practical solutions that improve safety, quality, and efficiency. In This Role, You Will Design and fabricate production fixtures and tooling Improve manufacturing processes and workflows Support product development projects Create CAD models and engineering drawings Evaluate manufacturing methods and recommend improvements Investigate and resolve production issues Develop and maintain technical documentation Partner with engineering and production teams to improve results Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude Experience in fabrication, machining, or manufacturing SolidWorks or CAD experience Knowledge of production processes and tooling Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems Strong attention to detail What Sets You Apart Hands-on builder mentality Creative problem solver Continuous improvement mindset Ability to balance shop-floor needs with engineering requirements
