Job Description:

Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to support the production of aerospace components. This role ensures that products are manufactured efficiently, cost-effectively, and meet all quality and safety standards. Duties and Responsibilities include the following: Design and optimize manufacturing processes for aerospace components (e.g., machining, assembly, composites) Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and tooling requirements Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste Ensure compliance with AS9100 and other aerospace industry standards Work with suppliers and quality teams to resolve non-conformances and improve part quality Utilize CAD software and ERP/MRP systems to support production planning Other duties: Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of the activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job. Computer Skills:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
• 2-5+ years of engineering experience, preferably in aerospace or defense
• Strong knowledge of materials, processes, and quality standards
• Proficiency in CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA)
• Proficiency in blueprint and specification reading
• Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools
• Familiarity with AS9100 regulations
