They are known to respect a traditional work week and often extend contracts for added job security and stability Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to support the introduction of new physical products from concept through full-scale production. This role will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams to develop efficient, cost-effective manufacturing solutions while improving product quality, reducing costs, and accelerating time-to-market. The ideal candidate has a strong background in manufacturing engineering, process optimization, and cross-functional collaboration, with experience supporting product launches in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Support new product introduction (NPI) activities from concept through production launch. Translate engineering designs into manufacturable processes and production-ready solutions. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain teams to optimize product cost, quality, and manufacturability. Develop and improve manufacturing processes for structural and mechanical products. Identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement. Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including process instructions and work procedures. Review and optimize bill of materials (BOM) structures and assembly documentation. Apply Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce waste. Provide technical support during production ramp-up and resolve manufacturing issues. Present recommendations and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline (preferred). 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or advanced manufacturing. Experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) and production launch activities. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes for structural or mechanical products. Experience with process optimization, continuous improvement, and Lean Manufacturing principles. Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM) management and manufacturing documentation. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and develop manufacturing work instructions. Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred due to collaboration with international manufacturing operations. Preferred Qualifications Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent continuous improvement experience. Experience with manufacturing automation initiatives. Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA). Experience working with global manufacturing facilities. Work Environment Onsite position located in Boca Raton, FL. Standard work schedule of 40 hours per week. Limited travel may be required based on project needs.
