Manufacturing Engineer Job Description Job Description You will be the Program Manufacturing Engineer supporting Air Dominance Operations. Our team is responsible for creating and improving manufacturing strategies for complex missile assemblies, and we play a crucial role in developing and implementing solutions for technical and organizational challenges. What You Will Be Doing As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for driving improvement initiatives that support Air Dominance Production Operations. You will be tasked with improving the overall process of the build using complex, cutting edge technologies and automation. Supporting and participating in the strategy and execution of cost reduction initiatives across LM Sites and supply base. Support design, fabrication, assembly, validation, and deployment of manufacturing tools and electromechanical systems that includes automated components such as robots, conveyors, vision systems and programmable controllers. Influencing design for manufacturability and ensuring producibility of complex electro‑mechanical systems. Capital planning and execution, vendor/integrator engagement, and project management activities to deploy automated solutions at multiple sites across MFC. Approximately 10% travel may be required to facilitate projects within LM sites and supply base. - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or STEM Related Discipline
- Strong communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
- Experience working within cross-functional groups, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with various teams and stakeholders
- Technical knowledge and experiences in the areas of defensive and aerospace manufacturing, process development and production testing.

- This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Desired skills- At least 1+ year prior experience in a manufacturing role directly supporting the shop floor.
- Working knowledge of Electro-Mechanical assembly processes.
- Knowledge of Digital Transformation and Automation Processes in a Manufacturing Assembly Environment.
- Experience facilitating design reviews with cross-functional departments and stakeholders, using CAD, PowerPoint, and other visualization tools

Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Select the Telework classification for this position Employee will work on-site full-time Shift First Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. National Pay Statement Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $67,000 - $117,990. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered:
