Job Description

Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II for a Contract with a client in Saint Petersburg, FL. The ideal candidate with experience developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for electromechanical assemblies to improve quality, efficiency, and operational performance.

Shift Rate Range:
$34/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Manufacturing Engineer II Job Responsibilities include: Develop and implement manufacturing processes and production workflows for electromechanical assemblies to meet quality, cost, and delivery objectives. Create and maintain operator work instructions, process documentation, and inspection criteria for both automated and manual manufacturing operations. Monitor manufacturing performance metrics, analyze process issues, and drive continuous improvement through root cause analysis and corrective actions. Support new product introductions and engineering changes by validating process effectiveness and implementing required manufacturing updates. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to materials, equipment, methods, manpower, measurement systems, and environmental factors. Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to improve line efficiency, reduce downtime, optimize throughput, and enhance overall manufacturing performance.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field. 2+ years of Manufacturing/Process Engineering experience within an electronics manufacturing environment. Strong experience developing manufacturing processes, work instructions, process flows, and supporting electromechanical assembly production. Proven expertise in root cause analysis, continuous improvement, process optimization, and resolving manufacturing issues related to quality, efficiency, and throughput. Pay Details:
