Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients to understand their unique needs and establish effective treatment goals based on clinical standards and evidence-based practices. Develop, implement, and modify personalized treatment programs that may incorporate exercises, manual therapy, and modalities, focusing on restoring and enhancing functional mobility. Provide diligent documentation of all patient interactions, completed evaluations, and treatment sessions within our electronic medical record system to ensure compliance and continuity of care. Engage in collaborative discussions with the interdisciplinary team to strategize patient treatment plans and share insights for ongoing care improvements. Perform routine screenings for specific needs such as lymphedema, fall risks, and rehabilitation necessities, enabling timely interventions. Excellent organizational skills and minimal paperwork commitment allow therapists to focus more on patient interactions and less on administrative tasks. Participate in departmental education efforts, including crafting presentations and engaging in peer supervision, that enhance your professional development and contribute to the clinic's learning culture. Patient Population / Client Focus The clientele at Positive Change Therapy varies widely, encompassing individuals with physical injuries, neurological conditions, developmental and learning disabilities, as well as those facing challenges due to mental health issues. Our practice especially appreciates therapists who can work effectively with pediatric patients, fostering their growth and rehabilitation in a nurturing way. Skills in trigger point therapy and other specialized techniques are highly valued as they enhance our ability to provide comprehensive care. Qualifications A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required. Must have a valid Florida Physical Therapist License. Minimum of one year of clinical experience, preferably within an acute care hospital or outpatient rehabilitation setting. Strong command of anatomy and physiology as well as proficiency in advanced therapy techniques, such as trigger point therapy. Ability to effectively manage both pediatric and adult patient caseloads in diverse clinical environments, including both clinics and hospital settings. Preferred Experience Experience in team-based treatment approaches with a focus on interprofessional collaboration. Prior experience in managing cases that include specific rehabilitative needs for pediatric and adolescent populations. A demonstrated commitment to professional development, including participation in workshops and continuing education. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from
USD 120,000
