$45-53 an hour
12 month contract

As the Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for translating complex engineering blueprints into clear work instructions and improving manufacturing processes using cutting edge technologies.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Create comprehensive work instructions from engineering drawings and parts lists.
- Implement automation and advanced technologies to enhance build efficiency.
- Lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) and Lean Six Sigma improvement projects.
- Develop process improvements that lower cost, increase quality, and accelerate delivery.
Required Experience :
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Engineering or related discipline.
- Position requires 3+ years of experience with writing technical work instructions
- Position requires 3+ years of working experience with with composites fabrication and/or optical assemblies
- Position requires 3+ years of experience with working in a manufacturing floor environment
Desired skills : - Able to work in a cross functional, teaming environment
- Detailed knowledge of GD&T
- SAP Experience
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma manufacturing, concepts, and techniques
- CREO/ProE experience with a focus on tool design
