Job Description
- 2027 Manufacturing Engineer Intern

Responsibilities:
+ Build plans, production tooling, and manufacturing processes for components and assemblies\.
+ Redesign tooling to improve operators' work environments\.
+ Analyze layouts and production processes to improve facility layouts for product flow\.
+ Creating reference documents and standardized work for new or improved processes\.
+ Analyze quality concerns, make recommendations for improvement, and implement ideas\.
+ Exploring new equipment and software that can reduce scrap and downtime and recommend changes to production flow to implement recommendations\.
+ Monitor, communicate and improve key supply chain KPI's including PPM, line disruptions and days to close non
- conforming material tickets \(NCMT\)\. + Develop and initiate standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation\. + Evaluate production processes to increase productivity and investigate methods to enhance the product\. + Coordinate material and tooling availability with appropriate stakeholders\.

Education:
Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering or related field required +
Software Knowledge:
Microsoft Office applications, CAD + Strong analytical and problem
- solving skills + Strong mechanical aptitude and drive to complete tasks and assignments
- AI Readiness:
- Textron expects employees to use AI
- enabled tools responsibly and effectively\. Candidates should be comfortable learning and applying these tools, evaluating AI
- generated output with sound judgment, and using AI in line with company policy and ethical standards\. Prior experience with specific tools is not required — we value curiosity, adaptability, and good judgment\.
