Job Summary:
Belcan is hiring for onsite manufacturing engineers in Columbus, GA. This is a direct, full-time position with benefits. To be considered for this role, you will need a BS Degree in engineering or equivalent experience. Manufacturing Project Engineer Job Duties:
Develop schedules, plans, and tracking spreadsheets to assess current conditions. Use charts, graphs, and summarize data from spreadsheets to communicate status to the team. Query customer applications to get current data and update spreadsheets. Run meetings, assign action items, follow up, and status all open action items. Participate in Integrated Team meetings. Work to resolve manufacturing issues, or act as manufacturing liaison for engineering and quality teams. Collaborate with customers and other team members, build consensus, and deliver results. Manage competing priorities and anticipate recovery plans if not meeting due dates. This is not a tracking job - the job requires you to deliver results and ensure teams are meeting milestones.
Core Qualifications:
AS or BS Degree in a STEM related field and/or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience 0-3 years of manufacturing engineering experience. Internship experiences will be considered You have a collaborative mindset, can think independently, set your own priorities, and feel comfortable discussing and resolving daily issues. You are able to thrive minimal direction, feel empowered to ask questions, and learn by doing. You will flourish in a fast-paced, multi-task environment. Excellent communication skills are required; outgoing and energetic individuals are encouraged to apply. Proficiency in MS Office including Excel. Skills with NX, Teamcenter are desirable.
